Between 1970 and 1983, Goldig Films produced and distributed over 100 Hong Kong-made movies. It also handled the global distribution of over 50 non-Hong Kong movies. Being of one of the largest movie investors in Asia, the company on average handled over 20 movies annually. The movies, which covered topics such as drama, romance, action, and comedy, achieved satisfactory box office revenues at cinemas around the world. The local box office revenues of certain movies reached as high as HK$ 2 million.
The company's strategy was to deliver quality, innovative productions using the most efficient production and distribution processes. This objective enabled the company to sustain its significant market position.
