Goldig Films worked with many potential actors and actresses. The company's executive producers and directors were active in promoting new talents. Many prominent figures in the entertainment industry today were exclusive artists of Goldig Films during the infant days of their careers.
Among some 50 artists who acted in Goldig Films movies, Chow Yun-fat is today an internationally prominent actor. In 1976, Chow signed his first exclusive movie employment contract with the company, while his contract with Television Broadcasts Limited was confined to television appearances only. Between 1976 and 1978, Chow starred in a total of six movies for the company. These movies were reviewed in 'Hong Kong Action Cinema,' by Bye Logan (Titan Books, 1995); and 'Asian Cult Cinema,' by Thomas Weisser (Boulevard Books, 1997).
